How to make the most of what we offer.

To ensure you achieve your goals and make the most of our German business classes, we’ve created a comprehensive guideline. Make sure to download the file, to follow these steps to maximize your progress, stay satisfied, and meet your expectations.

What sessions do you offer?

We currently offer three different online German language sessions in packages. One package contains 5 lessons and is specialized in one level and one area. 

What if I miss one session?

If it should happen that you miss a session or are unable to attend for an important reason, you must inform us at least 4 hours in advance. The session can then be postponed and made up on another date. 

What is the cost of the consulting?

The costs of the  packages are listed in the services tab. The cost depends on the intensity of the session, the amount of material and topics covered and also includes the additional material provided before and after each session.

What certificate will I receive upon completion?

Piccon Professional German does not offer an internationally recognized certificate upon completion of the sessions. However, we are happy to issue you with a confirmation that you have taken part and which topics were covered in depth.

How can I benefit from the forum articles?

You can either access free articles in the forum or create an account for additional options. A free membership keeps you up-to-date on essential topics, while a paid membership provides in-depth insights into the German business world. With premium access, you'll find articles tailored to leadership roles and topics covered in our courses, including professional and industry-specific content that supports your career growth.

If I purchase access to the offline materials, will I have lifelong access?

Yes, upon purchasing access to the offline course materials, you will have unlimited access for as long as you need, using your personal login credentials on our learning management platform. This system provides you with the utmost flexibility to study at your own pace while also incorporating tests and quizzes to help you monitor your progress.

Which sessions suits me best?

At what times can I plan my sessions?

First of all, it is important that the sessions corresponds to your current language level and is therefore not too demanding. To check whether you are at level B1, B2 or C1 it is advisable to take the following test.

If you are still not sure whether the test meets your requirements, please contact us and we will get back to you to arrange a short interview.

The sessions of each package are at fixed times from Monday to Friday, different time slots are available in the evening and in the morning (CET). For further information contact us.

What topics will be covered in the sessions?

The topics that we discuss in the packages are predefined and fixed. You can see them on the website and they will also be sent to you as a PDF overview. It is nevertheless possible, depending on availability and on request, to discuss individually tailored topics.

What are the qualifications and experiences of our teachers?

The teachers are explicitly selected, have a teaching qualification, the necessary certificates and years of teaching experience. It is ensured that the teacher has previously worked in the business sector and can convey the course content professionally.

What teaching methods do you use?

Can I access recordings of the sessions if I miss a class?

Various methods are used. The principle corresponds to the flipped classroom, where you should familiarize yourself with the vocabulary before the lesson. The lessons themselves will include role plays, case studies, discussions, presentations, problem-solving tasks, real-time simulations and much more.

There are no video recordings of the sessions from the packages. Nevertheless, you will receive all the material you missed and can work through it on your own.

Which payment methods do you accept?

You will receive an invoice and can transfer the money to the specified bank account. If problems occur, please contact us.

Is there any support outside of session hours?

Yes, when you book your first course with us, you get access to our community, where you can exchange ideas with other professionals and also have access to helpful articles and information material.

How do you track and report on my progress throughout the learning journey?

At the start of the sessions, there will be a pre-course assessment to gauge your current proficiency level, specific needs, and goals. Before every session starts, specific objectives for each day are set that align with the overall goals. You will also receive detailed notes on your performance during each session, focusing on areas such as vocabulary usage, grammatical accuracy, fluency, and comprehension. On top of that, a mid-week assessment is conducted to evaluate your progress after the first days followed by a final assessment. A detailed progress report at the end will summarize the progress.
